37 weeks and period type pains in legs

I'm 37 weeks today and the past couple of days I've been having period type pains in my legs, not in my belly but I generally don't get period pains in my belly anyway. Also had a few instances of 10 second quite gripey cramps that happen suddenly and make me stop what I'm doing, but in no way regular or often, just a couple a day for the last couple of days. Could this be the start of things?

I had pains in the tops of my legs when in labour. It can be a sign of fast labour. Maybe something is starting to happen

Omg I get this. It starts in my groin and radiates down my legs it makes me feel sick I'm 36 weeks I thought it might be the start of something too x

Would be nice if it was all kicking off, im so fed up and the thought of a few more weeks of this is really upsetting! Keep feeling like I need the toilet too but not actually going (for a poo I mean). Let's see what happens!

Forgot I posted this! I had the baby 5 days later so maybe it was the start!

Congratulations Grin! I think you’re allowed to forget to post when you’ve just had a baby.
