Can I borrow your eyes? BFP or just a mirage...

Hi ladies.

I have been trying to conceive with partner since October 2016, and so far no luck. Well, I am now overdue my period by 10 days and have the following symptoms: bloating, constipation, twinges in my stomach, fatigue, slightly larger boobs, aversion to certain smells, nausea...

I took a clear blue digital this morning that showed 'Not Pregnant'. However, I saw on another thread that the digital tests pick up on the darkness of the bfp line and so if it's quite faint, it can show as not pregnant when actually you are. So I cracked that bad-boy open and I THINK I can see a faint line... but the pregnancy desperation may have finally driven me crazy to the point of hallucinations, so I wondered what you guys thought?
I did the test about thirty mins ago now, so there's been a bit of vap, but the line next to the thick blue control line was there straight away, but just really faint.

What do you reckon: BFP, evap or just a bit baby crazy?

Thanks so much for your help, guys. I really appreciate it.

E x

Looks like a BFP to me! Do another!

BastardGoDarkly · 15/09/2017 09:00

It looks positive to me, but yes , do another one ☺

Hmmm. I definitely see a line but it's darker at the bottom and looks a bit like it could be an evap. Basically too hard to call from this!

Go and get a FRER! The ones with pink lines are often clearer!

Good luck OP!

Thanks so much guys! I'll sneak out on my lunch and pick up a FRER. Then it will just be a willpower test if I can wait until tomorrow to test FMU Grin

Nope, digital always show the lines regardless 😕 try a FRER. Good luck

Agree with above poster, 2 lines inside a digital test doesnt mean anything, sorry.

TiramisuQueenoftheFaeries · 15/09/2017 11:06

There are always two lines inside a digital as pp say - it doesn't work like a normal test as it has both a high sensitivity and low sensitivity test strip inside.

Digitals do require a higher HCG level to show positive but cracking them doesn't tell you anything. You'll need to get a normal high-sensitivity test to check.

I used the digital clear blue test, I done it first thing in the morning, as that's the best time to do it. Do another one. I had no issues with digital tests, I done 2 to be sure.
