Positive tests + spotting

Morning mumsnet!
This is my first post so huge apologies if this has been asked before but I just wanted some advice/assurance please 😊

I've had 4 positive pregnancy tests and am currently 6 days late for my period (my cycle is always regular) we are TTC so its great news for us 😊 However, today on the 7th day of what would have been my period, I have some brown discharge. Is this normal? Would love if anyone can offer advice on this or anyone with similar experiences.

As of yesterday, I was approx 5w pregnant fyi.

It could just be implantation bleeding which is nothing to worry about, I had similar when I was late on my period (tested but was a negative until several days later) and again at 8 weeks (which was my body getting used to not needing to have a period.)
If it gets worse however it's always worth getting checked out to put your mind at rest.

I've heard of implantation bleeding but have heard so many conflicting stories.

Will keep an eye and check with docs if it gets worse

If it is only brown discharge, no need to worry. Just take care of it. If you see more bleeding then immediately go for doctor. First three months of pregnancy are very critical if you have bleeding. It may cause miscarriage. Relax your mind and don't take stress of any kind. Also keep your diet balance. I got brown discharge at the end of my pregnancy period. I was some how frightened. But it was normal. I took three positive pregnancy test when my period was one week late. The first test was very very faint positive. Even doctors was not sure about it. I went after two weeks again. This time they confirmed the good news. Although I hardly believed on it at that time.

It was very light discharge that I saw when wiped on tissue so I wasn't too worried at first but I've heard people say implantation bleeding usually happens before you are due on said period and not usually afterConfused

However will aim to keep calm and just keep eye!
