Getting induced for reduced movements

Just wondering if anyone has any similar experience?
I went into hospital yesterday (39 weeks exactly) for the 3rd episode of reduced movement throughout my 3rd trimester. They did all the necessary checks, thankfully baby was all ok, he eventually moved after about 40 minutes on the monitor and started responding to the braxton hicks that I started having. I've had a further scan today to check liquor, cord, placenta etc and all was fine. They have booked me in for an induction at 40+1 weeks (next Thurs). I had an induction with DC1 at 42 weeks last time - is there any difference to being induced earlier? My induction last time was a positive experience overall but a little anxious with this one being pretty much on due date for some reason.

I was induced with dc2 at 40+1 due to my waters breaking but contractions not starting. I feel for me it was positive as it went fairly quickly (probably about 6 hours in total)

I think with you being full term it should be fairly straight forward but I'm no expert!

I was induced for reduced movements at 40+3. The induction ended at 40+5 with emcs. But I was very grateful to have baby out and ok as was worried about him

Thanks @GlitterSparkles17, @Sittingintheshade! I'm hoping that it will be straightforward. My last one seemed very "easy" almost too easy if that makes sense, I think I was very lucky. I don't know, I've had more issues this time plus I'm 7 years older (40 next year!) so I'm just feel a lot more anxious about it this time.

Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be the same for you this time dippy let us know how you get on! And good luck 🍀

I was induced at 37+3 for reduced movements. My first baby and it only took 4 hours from them starting me off to having dd and my labour was actually only 38 mins! Didn't have time for any pain relief but luckily she was only small!

Good luck x
