Age gap pros and cons?

Any experience (positives and negatives) for a one year school age gap versus a two year one? I am aware everything has pros and cons but would appreciate some seasoned advice- TIA

I don't think there are any cons personally, my eldest is in year 6, my middle child is in year 5 and my youngest is part time, it works for me x
