Pregnant after period?!?!?!?! Help?!?!

I'll keep this brief because I'm in shock, actually physically shaking. I only thought today that my last period was really short and unusual so I peed on a stick just to check, I do this just to be safe. Not trying to be pregnant, not planning to be pregnant and without being tmi we were a bit silly contraception wise - ONCE! The pregnancy test is in date and everything but could it be wrong??

No it's not wrong. Do you want a baby?

pepperlookslikebumcheeks · 14/09/2017 14:20

I would say you're pregnant

4thtime · 14/09/2017 14:21

I would say it's correct and u are pregnant, that is one clear line x

blamethecat · 14/09/2017 14:22

Could have been an implantation bleed not a period. So yes it is possible.

TroubledTribble28 · 14/09/2017 14:23

Oh Gosh, we said we wouldn't have another because of my health. If I am then keeping is my only option. It could still be wrong, right? Do I get a normal gp appointment and get referred to an ante natal clinic? What happens now?

That's a clear positive, you're definitely pregnant.

I had a very short 'period' and so discounted the idea of being pregnant, by the time I tested I was 8 weeks gone. I take it mine was implantation bleeding or something. That baby is 7 on Sunday!

Is this good news or bad news for you?

Jellybabie3 · 14/09/2017 14:25

Thats very clear. Gps generally wont see you just to confirm your pg. When i rang i was just booked in to see mw at 8 weeks.

I'm keeping this baby! My son is 4.5 and will eventually be delighted. He loves babies lol I didn't think the stock would actually be positive, as I said I often take them just to prove to myself that I'm daft and panicky. I have no idea how pregnant I am so I should do a 'this is how pregnant you are' test right?

No don't think it's wrong.
I got pregnant the FIRST time I dtd. My friend at the time told me you couldn't get pregnant your first time, I believed herConfused.

TroubledTribble28 · 14/09/2017 14:37

Grin @ 7 year old positive.
I've always been so absurdly careful so if this is real and I'm not going mad then it is irony. The most careful, planned person not being careful just once.

All my (4) children have been conceived first time trying (no joke-we're stupidly fertile). It's totally possible.

Congratulations!!

That's how I found out I was pregnant with #2. Period was short and spotty and that's very unusual for me. Peed on stick etc.
