Can I be in labour without having a show?

First two labours, I had a show then within a few hours contractions started.

For the last couple of hours I've been have fairly strong contractions every 5-7 minutes, but no show at all. Could this be the real thing?

I didnt have a show with either of my 2..but im not an expert ! So its a maybe from me!? How many weeks are you ?

Due date today. Its different to the previous two which has thrown me a bit!

I never had a show. But waters breaking was a bit of a giveaway.

No show for me either just contractions, waters breaking then fast contractions! Have your bag and car keys for your dh at the ready!

My waters didn't break with either if the others, I got the crochet hook treatment in hospital.

Never had show or waters breaking either. And all my labours started when I was either asleep or just winding down to sleep.

Yes you can, I didn't have with either of mine. Suspect it was c gradual so I didn't notice. Good luck!
