I dunno if they're unsafe but I didn't use anything in the bath while pregnant in case I got thrush.

pattimayonnaise · 13/09/2017 18:14

Yes they are fine.

Amd724 · 13/09/2017 21:31

There's a couple that aren't safe, when you go into Lush, mention that you're pregnant and they should tell you the ones to avoid. I forget which one, but it apparently is similar to a muscle relaxant (or something like that). They'll recommend one that's really good for aching backs, feet, etc.. At the least the Lush near me did!

FlaviaAlbia · 13/09/2017 21:34

They used to do one with an oil that is supposed to trigger labour so I'd echo what Amd724 said.

Saying that I tipped practically a whole bottle of the stuff into the bath in an attempt to evict a very overdue DS and it didn't work...

Jellybabie3 · 14/09/2017 07:29

Yeah ask in store. There are essential oils you need to avoid like clary sage. I didnt bother with lush bath products in the end even though i love them because i couldn't be faffed trying to work out whats OK (not very relaxing bath when your worried!!) But i am abit wimpy. I brought cussons mum and me bubble bath instead. Ds due next week and needless to say i will be having a bath soon after......

@mummabubs you just saved me from a having a bit a melt down! Have used lush bath bombs during my pregnancy and it didn't even cross my mind they wouldn't be safe Blush

mummabubs · 14/09/2017 22:13

@Lemonicelolly1 no worries 😊 I've also been using them every now and then throughout pregnancy as well as their pregnancy massage bar, gotta have a bit of pampering during the glamour that is pregnancy! X

ProseccoMamam · 14/09/2017 22:54

They are all natural and handmade, I don't see them being a problem unless you're allergic/can't currently stand the smell of any ingredients x

I loved my bath bomb baths when I was pregnant, nice and relaxingGrin

Chatoyant · 14/09/2017 22:58

I love my bath bombs but they gave me horrendous thrush when I was pregnant
