My other half is a day short of 12weeks pregnant. And she had bad pains and had to get admitted in to hospital, when had a scan which good news showed a healthy baby but bad news showed mild appendicitis. The surgeon and gynocoligist told us that they will try a course of antibiotics whilst keeping her in hospital. Now it's been already 4 days whilst being kept in now a 5th, they say they want her completely pain free before letting her leave. And she does feel better. She did have a hiccup when she went from antibiotics administered by drip to oral. She felt crap. But now is feeling fine eating ect. What I'm hoping for on here is someone who has maybe been through this? It's just we are looking for some hope or anything. We have pictures from the scan. But its hard to be happy at the moment. We are just anxious.
