MAP failed, do I need to see the doctor?

As above really, if MAP can increase the risk of an ectopic pregnancy do I need to go to the doctor? If I do need to go will I get referred for a scan so they can check where the pregnancy is?

I'm about 3 and a half weeks and I want to keep the baby if viable.

It's not clear if you've actually had a positive pregnancy test? If you have then yes see your gp.

Are you pregnant? If you are go to your GP our local sexual health clinic.

The GP doesn't see people just for pregnancy, you self refer to the midwife after 6 weeks. Yes I do have a positive test, I also have an 11 month old so I remember the process from last time, I just don't know if having taking MAP warrants seeing a doctor?

No it doesn't if you get symptoms of pain etc then go to A&E

Excellent, I shall tell DH to stop worrying about my demise, thanks! Grin
