Faint positive day after but bleeding when period due?

The last few weeks I have felt of the early pregnancy symptoms I felt with DS around 2 and a bit years ago. I'm not TTC though do didn't think too much of it.
On the day AF was due- yesterday I had a very small faint pink bleed last night, I usually always come on first thing in the morning. It then stopped completely. I had a test in my drawer from a long time ago so I took it late last night.
This morning when I've opened the bin, it is there with a very very faint positive line. At first I thought it was my eyes playing tricks on me but now I'm positive there is another line. I know it's the day after but could this still be a positive?
I've now started bleeding again dark red but very light and much lighter than my usual period. I also have stomach and lower back cramps.
Anyone had anything similiar? Could the test be a false result being the day after?

Hi it could be and evap line if it was left over night, it could be positive though, best way to find out is do another test, bleeding can happen in pregnancy so the only way to find out like I say is to do another test maybe tomorrow, hope u get the result u want x

Thanks 4thtime for your reply! yes it must've been an Evap line! Took another test today and it's definitely negative, and the bleeding has turned into a period. Very much a false alarm!
