Gel Induction

Did you walk around much with a gel induction? Is it important to be up and about and trying to encourage things? Currently got light back ache but really hoping it will start something! Hospital is quite small so there's not many places to go!

I think it's encouraged and I supposed to help. I found an outdoor courtyard at the hospital and paced round and round and round. No idea if it helped get things going but it helped with the contractions.

I found another couple, who I happened to know, going up and down the same staircase.

Thanks did you get a constant back ache or one that came and went?

Contractions which came and went - I had a 24 hour pessary thing on a string first before I had the gel pessary though so was already having mild contractions from that.

They also gave me a stretch and sweep when they stuck the gel pessary in.

Hopefully things move quickly for you!! Are you overdue or being induced for other reasons?

12 days overdue so ready for this to happen and really desperate for the gel to work!!
