I feel like ive been googling everything recently so thought would see if any of you lovelies knew anything. Was told at 20wks I had complete placental previa but not to worry as they tend to move then at 30wks it had moved brilliant but they would give me another scan at 36wk they ummed and ahhed about it saying it needed to move another 5mm so they would book me in for a csection which isnt what I ideally want but understand reason for this.

Last night had bad braxton hicks for maybe 6 or 7hrs thought I was in labour but they wernt following a pattern or increasing etc so went to bed and they eased off although all night did feel i needed the loo even though I didnt sorry if tmi.

Well during my googling research with a pinch of salt I rewd that braxton hicks can actually move the placenta very slightly....is this true as I am back at hospital tomorrow for my internal scan before then appointments everyday thru Monday when this c section has been arranged for?

Hi, I've had placenta praevia too, it was touching the OS at 32 weeks but had moved at 36 weeks, although still low and within 4cm. Also, as baby is breech I'm booked in for c section at exactly 39 weeks. I've not researched much (my consultant banned me from Dr Google!) but that is interesting about the BH moving the placenta, I had some very strong, frequent ones a week before my last scan, not much since. I know the placenta can move right towards the end of pregnancy so hopefully you'll get the news you want tomorrow.
