Sooo iv had the implant in my arm for about 2 years, its coming out next month june so i'v got around 9 months left. I only just noticed since late june just gone i havent had any periods. I usually get them once every two months so i should of had one in august but I never & im afraid i wont have one this September either. I dont know what to do, someone help?

I was on the implant for 2 years and had irregular bleeding, you don't really have periods on contraception like this as an egg isn't being released, just before I had my implant removed , for around 6 months I didn't bleed at all. Everyone reacts different but usually, the longer your on the implant, the less you bleed or just stop all together! I'd say it's a good thing!

Hi I had the implant fitted after having my DD1 & had it in for the full 3 years, didn't have a period for most of that time though I still got cramps every month Confused, i was told it's a really common side effect but it can effect different people differently.
