I'm 38+3 and I'm leaking!? I'm really confused as I'm pretty sure I've not had a show and this looks more like my waters but I don't know! I'm having watery discharge which is kind of straw coloured but with a pinkish tinge? My first pg I was like niagra falls when my waters went and now... Should I contact my midwife?!!

it can go on and off, waters are weird things!

have something to eat,or a walk around your house.

Good luck!!

Well, I've stopped. Am a bit concerned they were pinkish, is that normal?! Hospital have advised to keep an eye on it and let them know if it starts up again. Isn't there some sort of time limit between your waters going and being induced?! I don't suppose this counts, mind...

My friend has always described her waters as 'straw coloured with a pinkish tinge' and she has had three children.

stop panicking ! might be that your hindwaters have sprung a leak, waters can be pinkish , straw coloured or clear, that is ok.....

a leak can reseal, and there is no hurry for induction

if your forewaters have gone, they gush and gush..and then you have 96 hours (NICE guidelines) before you should be induced, if things don;t start

this sounds like a leak, and no need to panic, go to the hospital later, they can check , if you feel you want to go, and just potter around....

thanks lulumama and showofhands, I know I'm probably panicking over nothing! Will go and make lunch for ds and me and think calm thoughts while watching neighbours!
