20 week scan - small baby and low fluod

So, feeling very anxious and worried after my 20 week scan. Sonographer said baby is measuring small and I have low fluid, other than that the baby was fine. Couldn't really answer any questions understandably. Went in to see the midwife afterwards who refused point blank to answer any questions we had. An urgent referral has been made for a Dr to scan me this week. I am truly petrified. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience?

Sorry I can't offer any advice but didn't want to read and run - just wanted to say hand hold. Try not to panic until you see the doc.

Why no time give Tommys a call? They might be able to offer some insight as they are trained midwives.

Thank you. Apparently the consultant has now looked at my scan and wants to scan me himself but that won't be until Thursday. It's going to be a long wait....
