I'm 36+5 with my fourth baby, due a c section in 16 days. I've had Braxton Hicks for weeks and lost my mucous plug a month ago. Since last night I've had niggly back and leg pain like period pain, but it's quite mild and comes and goes. I've never had a normal birth but I have been in established labour before but it was 9 years ago and can't really remember it started off like this. My waters haven't gone yet. I went into labour at exactly 37 weeks with my second pregnancy but was taken for a c section as soon as I started to dilate. What do people think?

That sounds how my last labour started then escalated very quickly as your booked in for a section I would definitely give the hospital a call.
Good luck!

My water's never broke, but my first pains were just like period pains, going down into the tops of my legs . So it sounds like something could be happening for you. Good luck

My waters never broke by themselves, but backache/period pain was how my labours started.

It's eased off for now. Don't want to waste their time by going in and getting my mum to mind the other kids but I don't want to leave it too late where I'll end up having another emergency section.
