hi all, the above preety much states it all. I'm looking out for every sign to see if lavour is starting. i really hope i don't go over, but know i stand a good chance with this being our first baby. ive had low back discomfort for two days and very slight peiod twinges between groin today. im hoping this is the start of labour x

Same here, 39 weeks too. Except I haven't had a single twinge or pain. I'm getting a bit pissed off now. Hoping I have one of those labours with no signs and just waters randomly breaking. Which means it will be any second now Wink

aw dont worry my twinges may not even mean a thing. Ive been reading up and people get all sorts of things earliwr on at like 37 weeks and still dont have their babies until 40+. I think im being impatient too because i got told the week before last they were going to induce me due to be diaognosed with svt then to be told last week i dont need to be. Don't get me wrong I'd prefer for everything to be all natural but id sort of got my head around having atleast a date that ill go in hospital to have our baby... so we got excited. now i have this horrible feeling ill go over :(. boo x

I'm 39 weeks with #3 and haven't had a single sign or twinge either!

I'm 38+5 and simultaneously fed up and wanting it to be over but also terrified of baby being here!

Every twinge, slight pain etc I'm thinking 'is this it?' but then nothing... 40 weeks is a looooong time!

40 weeks is a long time. todat ive had upper abdoninal discomforr accompanied by lower back ache and some pelvic twinges. i did thinj maybe slow labour but i think my discomfort would be lower tummy and not higher. gosh the unknown is hardwork x

I want to have the baby here now, but I know what's coming with the birth so not exactly willing that to happen either!
