Second delivery anything like the first

Am 23 weeks and have been thinking about the impending delivery. DD was 11 days late with a labour of 10 hours. (2 spent pushing) It suited me that she was late as i was at the end of my nurse training and wanted to finish it b4 she was born.
This time I don't want to be waiting as long. Any chance that this one may be earlier or is it a case of once late always late. A shorter labour would be nice too.

My 2 were very similar, but I was loads less battered after nr 2 (no stitches) and lost the weight MUCH quicker too.
1st labour (5 days late) was 4 hours long (2nd stage 2 hours). Don't know when waters broke. Ds1 born 8:32 pm. No pushing - my body did all the work.
2nd labour (2 days early) was 3 hours long (2nd stage 2 hours). Waters broke 1/2 an hour before he was born. Ds2 born 8:34 am. 3 pushes, easy peasy.
No interventions either time.

my 2 were completely different!
1st - 24 hr labour - 8 days overdue stiches galore!
2nd - 4 hr labour - on time! no stiches

1ST one was 8 hour labour, 3 hours of pushing, lots of stitches.

2ND one 11 hours of almost painless labour and only had to push twice but slightly more stitches.

My 2 were different

1st ds was 10 days late, 16hrs, epidural, epostomy, stitches.

2nd Dd 1 day late, 7hrs, gas & air, no stitches more intense & painful but prefered this labour to my 1st.
