Hi all- got my mum and dads silver wedding party this weekend and have a gorgeous dress- but all the maternity bras I have can be seen cos they all have straps! Has anyone seen any mat bras that are strapless, or know if its OK for me to wear a normal underwired strapless one for one evening?
thanks! (BTW- if it makes any dif I am 24+4) X

I would say one evening won't be a problem - as long as it doesn't dig in. You could look to see if you can find a non-underwired bra with see-through straps?!? I think the main concern with underwired bras is that they can dig into the breat tissue and cause soreness. Good luck!

I wore underwired bra's throughout my last pg and intend to do the same. It never affected my milk supply which is what one of my friends warned me against. Have seen underwired maternity bra's too, so I am sure it's okay.

fine to wear a normal one so long as it fits properly - really properly - worth getting measured and getting one with detachable straps so you can get more wear out of it.

Thank you all! Off to M&S for a measure this evening!

there were some multiway maternity bras in mothercare (pretty sure you can wear those as strapless) when I was in there yesterday - unfortunately none in my size....

I got some of those sticky uppy chicken fillet things for my sisters wedding - worked great - and relatively cheap too.
