That's just it really.

In early pregnancy I got a dull ache like period pain but has waded off from like 11 weeks.
I've had ligament pain when turning and bending down, It's a stitch like pain.

But this pain I've had for the past few days is weird and never had it before.
It's like it starts from underneath my ribs and down to my stomach, like my muscles are tightening.

Im a worrier anyway, anyone had this? Or any ideas to what it might be?

I'm 17wks and got the exact same thing! I'm a chunky but funky lass and didn't think I would have this much discomfort. It's really itchy too!

GrinI'm not exactly slim either, i know there's stretching pains which I've experienced but this is like a tightening

My tummy is definitely firmer

29 weeks and I get that, isn't that what braxton hicks are?

cherryontopp · 07/09/2017 18:08

I thought so Mirror - but I thought 17 weeks is too early to have them?

I had Braxton Hicks all the way through my first pregnancy - it's exactly as you describe

Dont worry I also had braxton hicks from about 17ish weeks in my first pregnancy x they got more and more frequent too. 5 to 10 a day the last few months, must have called my midwife 20 times with worry. They never stopped scaring me but all was well I promise. My daughter did make her arrival at 36 weeks so a little early but doubt it was the braxton hicks xx it was more likely the moving house and unpacking boxes all day. Must nest must nest xxxx good luck lovely
