Severe pain at 33 weeks?

Last night and then again tonight I have had intense, really really sharp pain fairly high up on my bump. So sharp it takes my breath away, and almost has me writhing. He's wriggling right under where the pain is, so I don't know if he is causing it?

I don't remember having this with either of my previous, so I don't know if it is something I should be worried about?

I would have it checked. Is there a walk through kind of thing for prenatal near you?

It has stopped again now, bar the odd tiny stab when he wriggles hard. Maybe I'll phone and get advice...

Yes, please do.
Many many years ago, a sharp pain woke me up. The next day, I went to have it checked and the doctor, without doing any scans or really examining me, told me he knew exactly what I had .... first baby syndrome and to take some magnesium for the cramps and camomile for my nerves. A week later I had lost my baby at 22 weeks. Still now, I wonder if something could have been done.

So, better safe than sorry. 99.9% it is nothing, a kick in one of your organs, but there is this 0.1% it is a warning sign, so don't hesitate, don't try to be polite, don't feel stupid, or a bother, or nothing.
Don't under-describe it.

Have it checked.
