Don't do it - if you have the temerity to go overdue ('cos yes of course it will be your fault if you do ) then you'll get texts every single day to ask why you haven't had it yet.

(And yet not one of those friends texting you will remember your thirtieth birthday. Sorry, no, that one is just me!!)

KittyLetteMeEatAnEasterEgg · 03/04/2007 11:43

lol, dont really want a baby, just a pregnancy and birth

i think my DP would rather have a baby than a pet, pmsl, he hates em!

she's lovely TR.

Kitty, you have plenty of time for more babies. Concentrate on your wedding and yourself for a little while!

KittyLetteMeEatAnEasterEgg · 03/04/2007 11:54

i know

im on the pill and definatly wont come off it so theres no chance of a baby, and i couldnt bring myself to stop it as too much of me knows its a bad idea iykwim, but its so hard to supress the urge isnt it?

however much you know its not a good idea or how much grief it would cause its just so strong and so hurtful to have!

Let me help you Kitty.

1st Trimester

You find out you are pregnant. Great.
You puke your guts up for 13 or so weeks.
Your DH/P and kids are frightened to come near you because your temper is so volatile.
You spend every waking hour terrified that something is wrong and living on edge in advance of the scan.

Move onto the 2nd Trimester
You continue puking
You dont feel like yourself
You can't play with the kids because you are so damn f'ing knackered all the time

Move onto the 3rd Trimester
You are constantly anxious that the baby is ok
You cannot sleep for the need to piss frequently and to relieve a deadened leg
You are even more tired than in the 2nd trimester
I haven't included the birth (because for me that's not the worst bit)

Now I cannot deny that this is all a small price to pay for that lovely bundle - but can you imagine doing it all with a 2 babies under 2.5 years old in tow? My DC are 5 and 2 and I am really struggling (working full time though).

You did ask

i know, i read that, bloody awful,

my 2nd was smaller than my first though so if it continues that way i hopefully will never experience anything like that

although DS1 was 9lbs and did have stitches, 2nd degree i think
