Having a filling. Anesthetic when pregnant

So go to have two fillings re done in two weeks. I'll be 15. 5 weeks. Dentist knows I'm pregnant and didn't say it was a problem so I guess that's OK.
I worry as I don't numb well and they have to inject loads..

I think the general consensus is that its fine provided the dentist knows you are pregnant so they can avoid certain anaesthetics. However, my dentist is super cautious and asked if I'd let him try to fill a tooth without anaesthetic (I was in the first trimester- he said that if it became too painful he'd stop- I told him to be quick!) . It wasn't too bad, the drilling was a bit ouchy but none of that nasty after numbness!

I had a lot of dental work when I was expecting. The dentist was aware I was and I too don't numb well and require far more injections than they normally give. (I wonder why that is? Surely it should be the same for everyone. Off to google it now Blush)
It was fine for me.

OK well I'll be in second trimester then so hopefully be OK. Weird isn't it I numb better on my left side than right. This happens to be the bloody right, typical lol

I think I was late second/early third? Ended up having 3 injections at various points during the half hour as feeling kept coming back. I was more likely to go into early labour from the state I got myself into than the injection affecting anything... HATE the dentist Sad

I needed a filling early on in pregnancy and wasn't brave enough to try without the injections! The dentist said it wasn't a problem but she used a local anaesthetic without adrenaline because I was pregnant.
