At one point a few weeks ago during pregnancy I was 10 weeks pregnant and I didnt keep anything down for 24 hours and the constant nausea and pain was getting me down. Anyone with a couple of days of taking my sickness improved massively. I've woke up a couple of times with horrendoes neasea and thought at any moment I might need to dash to the loo and not felt like I could safely leave the house. I've overall taken about 6 of the tables over a week (it says 3 a day when required) and I'm worried because I have taken them when only felt really neasea and not sick i may have done more harm than good?! Looking for reassurance that others have had similar stints with them. I'm now on antibiotics for an infection so I won't be taking them at all

I've taken all kinds of pills for sickness and nausea throughout my pregnancy, the main one being much stronger than what you're taking. Yes it's worrying and not ideal but many women need to take medication.

It's common to think that sickness is more justifiable than nausea. In my experience the unrelenting nausea was far more debilitating than the sickness (even when I was vomiting several times a day). I was on medication until 28 weeks. Now 36 weeks and so far, baby seems fine.

Stemitil has been used for pregnancy nausea and sickness for many years. Check out the Pregnancy Sickness Support website for more reassurance.

You might feel better as the first trimester passes, so be kind to yourself and do what you need to get through

Thanks I've counted the pack and I've took a total of 6 tablets over 7 days which is in fact 2 days worth and one of those I was immediately sick after taking so I assuming that this wouldn't have had a major factor. I'm 11 weeks tomorrow and I just woke up today not feeling pregnant anymore. Loads of energy and sickness completely gone and I'm trying to pinpoint if I've done anything wrong?! Scan is a week today so fingers crossed all fine for then

I took it during my second pregnancy. I took it until about 16 weeks. Everything was fine in the end and DD is 8 years old now.
