What can you not eat in early pregnancy? I didn't know cheese was a no no & I love it. Also any recommendations?

Should be everything you need to know. It's only soft cheeses that pose a potential risk of listeriosis (a type of food poisoning).
Congratulations and hope you enjoy your pregnancy Flowers

Soft cheese, raw fish (sushi), you have to make sure that any red meats are cooked properly.

Most sushi in Europe has been frozen and is fine to eat, just ask the place.

The NHS Choices website is pretty comprehensive. I found the book 'Expecting Better' interesting, the author goes behind the guidelines to find out exactly why they're there and sums up what she did based on that background information. Good luck!

Just wanted to add it's not ALL soft cheese that you need to avoid. NHS website has good guidelines, soft pasturised cheese is fine, it's only mould ripened/soft blue/soft unpasturised cheeses that are risky.
