I've been bleeding for 10 days on and off. It's started around the day I was expecting my period and was accompanied by sore breasts and fatigue so I assumed I was not pregnant. The bleeding was pretty normal and lasted for 2 days, the following day I did not bleed, then the 4th day I had some spotting. After the 4th day I had about 3 days of no bleeding then the bleeding returned again on the 8th day for three more days, it was fairly light but was still bright red. I had sex on the days I was not bleeding so I'm not sure whether that may have re-started bleeding? However I have taken 4 pregnancy tests and all have come back positive including 2 clear blue tests which show "2-3 weeks pregnant" on one and "1-2 weeks pregnant" on the other. I'm worried that I maybe be having/ have had a miscarriage. I am booked in for a early scan in 3 days but I just want to know if anybody else has experienced anything like this and continued to full term.

I'm not really sure what to make of this could it be implantation? But they say implantation isn't bright red

Yeah it doesn't make sense, I'm really worried about it

Well they say you can't get false positives only false negatives so you must have some hcg in you to get a positive meaning you are pregnant?

Well as you can imagine I've googled a lot!! And it could be that I've miscarried and still have some of the hormones in me? I just don't want it to be over before it's even started!

Breakthrough bleeding can happen around when your period would be due, I had some on and off until around 9 weeks and am now 30 weeks with perfectly healthy baby and no complications. It's more common than you would think! And if you are not having cramps, clots or heavyish bleeding there is a good chance things are going to be okay - of course I can't say you aren't going to miscarry as it is unfortunately also relatively common in the very early weeks, but so is benign bleeding.

I would call urgent care or 111 as a precaution though and hopefully just for reassurance, bleeding should be checked out. Hope it goes okay Flowers

Thank you so much, really just needed to hear someone else had had a similar experience! Obviously it is touch and go at this stage but it makes me feel better knowing someone else has gotten through it!
