Finding it so hard. Now 41wks + 5
Want a home birth. Induction booked for Tues. I was induced with DS1 (this is my 2nd) and want to avoid induction this time. I will probably push induction back a day and go in for monitoring. I find it so horrible having a deadline and obvs so annoying & tiring still being pregnant. Had sweep which gave me cramps but nothing followed. On Tues MW thought cervix looked favourable for things to happen this week, but this week is nearly over - aargh! How are you coping?

Hi there I'm 40 + 5 here so a week behind you but my induction is already booked for 9th so already feel the date looming I agree about not liking the pressure of having a date attached , my eldest starts school next week and I really want to be at home for that. I'm just trying to focus on the positives of baby not being here yet which are mainly child free time and some sleep and the ability to be more spontaneous !!

Ah, good luck Cupcakegirl! I hope it goes well for you LO starting school. I'm not sleeping, unfortunately, which feels like a wasted opportunity!
