I'm 34 weeks and have blood in my urine. Any idea what it could be? Thankyou

Likely culprit would be UTI but you need to get it checked asap.

I went up to the ward and they said for now it's a bladder infection but running tests about kidney infection, im so worried and confused

As long as it gets treated you should be fine, try not to worry too much (easier said than done I know!) Smile

Please try not to worry. Antibiotics will kick in quickly and deal with it.

I had this at 22 weeks. There was quite a lot of blood in my urine (the nurse commented on it), they checked heartbeat of baby and even did an internal exam to make sure my cervix was still closed. I was sent home with antibiotics and that seemed to do the job.
I do think I have the start of another uti now though, so I'll be calling my gp in the morning.
It's all just great fun isn't it?
