Hi, I had a surgical misscarriage on 24th May and found out I was pregnant again a few weeks ago. I had very light spotting on June 22nd for 2 days so midwife dated me at 9 weeks. Just been for an early reassurance scan. Sonographer did an internal scan as she couldn't see heartbeat. During internal she saw sac and yolk but again no heartbeat. They think gestation is 6 weeks and measuring around 5mm. They think I am misscariaging again. I have to go back in 10 days for another scan. Does anyone have any similar experiences. X

Thanks . I'm just confused. Some people are saying 6 weeks is to early to hear a heartbeat. I really don't want to go through this twice 😦

I've had two mmc. Three mc in total. With the second mc i found our at 12 wk scan that it had stopped growing at 6 weeks. No bleeding. Same at next one, except the scan was 9 weeks, had stopped growing at 6 week. I was absolutely sure of my dates tho, so didn't have to wait ten days (that sounds unbearable). I had surgical mc two days later on both occasions. I hope you have a positive outcome.

Thank you. Sorry for your losses. Its heartbreakimg. My first one was a mmc too discovered at 12 weeks scan.
I've not had a period since misscarriage so they're not sure of dates which I'm holding on to. They said you can see a heartbeat from 2mm though so they're pretty sure it's another mmc. The waiting is the hardest bit 😕
