Pregnancy after miscarriage

Hi all,
I'm pregnant following a miscarriage but I had no period between the loss and getting pregnant.
Does anyone know when I'd be expected to have a dating scan? I spoke to the antenatal clinic and they said I'd have to have a dating scan before the 12 week scan. I forgot to ask when this would likely be.
Does anyone have any experience of this?

I have the same issue and was referred to my local EPAU. They did not scan me so I've just booked a private scan. I think you should just call them back and ask for a scan around 7-8 weeks.

Thank you for replying. I did put this in chat also and got some helpful advice.

I called the hospital and they advised to take a dating preg test (which I've done), wait until 7 weeks and then call them back to book a dating scan. I'm only 3 weeks pregnant now, so it's just a waiting game.

I can't believe what happened to you. That is really rotten to be told you couldn't have a scan. I'm worried this will happen to me. I had a mmc so I really don't want to wait the full 12 weeks again.
