Hi

Following IVF we are expecting twins. Was delighted to get a positive pregnancy result but feeling overwhelmed when twins were seen on the first scan yesterday. Anyone else expecting twins? X

Nope, but wow! Congratulations!! Plenty of time to get your head round it. I've heard good things about TAMBA (Twins and Multiple Births Association) www.tamba.org.uk/
Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy! X

Congratulations, a double blessing!

Put yourself first for the next few months because you'll be thoroughly worn out when they arrive!

Hi op. I have twin boys who are 18 months old. They are an absolute joy when they're not fighting. It is such a joy to have twins but bloody hard work Smile all the best !

Hi my twins were a surprise, but hey they are 11 now and are totally amazing, get as much support as possible, routine, structure and as many friends as possible, I passed my driving test, finished my degree and retrained in another career with twins, you"ve got this and you will be fine. Oh and I still have days where I'm totally overwhelmed😁 twins rock! Congratulations and good luck OP.

Aww thanks ladies and thanks for the useful links, going to look at TAMBA. Think it's just still sinking in and I'm worrying over nothing. Will be good if I manage to find some other twin mummies. Thanks again ladies x

My dts are 7.
It is brilliant fun. It can be hard work, but any children with any age gaps would be.
I find it so much easier now, when they're not fighting.

You may have a local twins club you can join? I had to drive half an hour to my closest one but it was great... lots of support and a break from the same questions! My twins are 7 and I'd do it all again tomorrow. It is completely full on when they're little but I found my babies very content... perhaps because they were never alone. Congratulations!

Huge congratulations

I have a few friends with twins and they all day the same. Early stages and once here a lot of support is a must. So look into local groups etc.

Thanks ladies, a great help. Feeling much more positive now, it's life changing but for the better. Going to try find a local group asap xx
