Hey so I'm nearly 16 weeks and these past 4 days I've been floored with a bad migraine, pins and needles down my left side and affecting my vision too. My question is what can I do or take? I called into chemist today and she wouldn't give me anything without seeing a doc tho it's like a 3 week waiting list to see my GP 😣 I've been using the 4head rub with no relief. Thanks in advance

You do need to see a GP. They need to rule out other conditions because you're pregnant.
Either find a walk-in centre near where you live/work or call your surgery first thing in the morning and ask for an emergency appointment because you're pregnant.
Good luck

Thanks I will try in the morning again but the receptionist this morning said it wasn't an emergency lol and I'd have to wait for the routine 3 week app. The joys eh! I live in a rural area so there's no drop in unfortunately and I suppose they are busy but what a nightmare 🙈 I have a midwife appointment on Monday if all else fails. Thank you @positivevibe

I suffered with migraines in my pregnancy and I just took paracetamol the midwife said it was safe and nothing was wrong. It was just hormones .

Tell the receptionist you're pregnant, and you need to see a GP today. They have to give you an appointment because you're pregnant!! They don't need to know anything more but headaches and visual disturbances in pregnancy need checking out (youre too early for preeclampsia so i expect it is migraines, i get them too - they're a bitch, but definitely worth getting checked out asap).
