Hi, I am having a Nuchal scan this Friday afternoon in FMC. I would like to know if anyone here already been there, if how many scan photos do they give you? I would like to have an extra one to put in a photo frame to give to my parents when we surprise them this weekend and preferably similar or a little bit bigger than a wallet size photo? Or does it go with a normal size? Thank you xxx

Which centre?

When we had scans done at FMC we got about 4-5 printed scans. The paper that scans are printed on isn't great tbh, I'd take them to a photo shop and get them scanned/reprinted if you're giving them to GPS etc. Otherwise a bit of light exposure and they'll spoil I imagine.

I had my scan in an NHS fetal medicine centre, they didn't offer any printing facilities at all. Had to take pics on my phone.

Assuming you meant the FMC at Harley St OP! Sorry meant to clarify - didn't even know there were others

We were given free scan photos at the FMU on several occasions including 3D ones. They look very similar to the ones we were given in the usual ultrasound dept.

I had a few scans in our local Fetal Medical Unit. These were all for medical reasons and no photos were offered.

We got about five or six pics from the scan we had at the FMC. They were nice and clear.

They gave us three :)
I'm sure you can ask for more if needed. They're v friendly there. Hope it goes well x

P.s. The pictures were the same size as those given to us at our 12 week scan at UCH.

If you mean Harley st FMC - they gave me loads! They were just like the NHS ones, not really wallet sized a bit bigger and thinner than that.
