Green discharge during early pregnancy

Hi guys, I'm experiencing a green discharge. I'm 10 weeks pregnant. It's every day and kind of looks like snot, sorry for the graphic detail. I've had swabs done and waiting for results. They've frightened me in to thinking it's an sti but I've been faithful to my partner and I believe he's been faithful to me. We both work and come home to each other the same time every night, any time off we've had off together. We have just bought a house, we're engaged.
Did anyone else experience this? They found BV, gave me antibiotics and treated me for thrush but it's still exactly the same after finishing both courses.

I had this! It wasn't an STI, but they never really decided what it was. It just went away again.

Oh really? How long did you have it for? Mines been over a week now and not getting any better

I remember getting blue discharge Confused again never had it decided what it was and it stopped in the end I wore black knickers to stop noticing it

I can't quite remember, but I think it was for a good few weeks. I filed it under 'just one of those pregnancy things'!

Call the midwife! If discharge is coloured you should call.

EmmaLou3422 · 30/08/2017 12:22

Ok thank you, you've eased my mind a little. Everyone else I've spoken to have never heard of it which freaked me out even more. I've spoken to the GP as I didn't have a midwife at the time it started happening, he's took swabs, just waiting for results. I have anxiety as well which really doesn't help to be honest lol.

I had that! Only a little but it did go away. It is exactly like snot. I think the GP and i came to the consensus it was just a little bit of not needed mucus plug leaking (ewwwws).

Anxiety wise it's horrible and i totally get you. Still have hideous anxiety at 14 weeks. Do lots of relaxation, lots of midnfulness meditations and when you're into the 2nd trimester book into a pregnancy yoga class and try to find ways to zone out. Also i read every book i could find which made me MORE anxious so just...let your brain be fallow for a bit. It really really helps.

I've had yellow/green jelly blobs throughout. Midwife have never took any swabs or seemed concerned.

Had orange jelly the other night. Weird!

Green ish (not bright green) definitely. And in early pregnancy. My GP wasn't bothered when I mentioned it. Cleared up by 2nd trimester, but I was worried enough to post on here about it. No one ever suggested Sti to me...I was just told it was probably one of those things

EmmaLou3422 · 30/08/2017 15:45

Thank you for all your replies, you've all helped calm my anxiety to almost zero 😘😅 I'm glad it's normal (ish). I know it's always worth getting checked out but my gp seemed concerned and when I did finally get a midwife appt, I mentioned it to her and she looked at me with panic. I've been at my wits end.

I also had the same in early pregnancy!

Macarena1980 · 30/08/2017 19:07

I had this for about the first 8 weeks, it did look like snot... and was worrying, I had ivf and my clinic thought it was fine. It did a clear up and I not have clear discharge, I do find if I'm dehydrated it can go a bit yellow/green again, so make sure your drinking plenty of water. Xx

It's vile! As if pregnancy isnt stressful enough! bloody green discharge. Thanks body! I'm still a bit freaked out about it as I haven't been told by a health professional that it's normal, just been told to go get tested for sti's 😩 cheers then. I should of just came here first lol.
