Cramps

Hi, just looking for advice, I am 38+3 weeks I have been getting period like cramps for a few days now, does this mean labour is likely soon or is it just my bodies way of messing with me 🙈

Sounds like things could be happening soon! I woke up during the night with mild period like cramps but things progressed quickly and they got stronger over the course of a few hours and dd arrived that afternoon!

Hello, when I was pregnant with my son I was 36 weeks and had very bad cramps/abdo pain. Didn't have a clue I was having contractions called the hospital who said likely a UTI and to come in. Two hours later I delivered him!

Could be a number of things, one of them early labour, take some paracetamol and have a warm bath, should hopefully make u feel bit better. Early night, plenty rest, u may not get any for a while so enjoy while u can.

Thanks ladies, hopefully it's not today my husband is at conference with work, back tomorrow night so hopefully she holds off until then. Will run my bath just now Smile x
