Spa day when ttc

I'm on a spa day next week with a hot tub. Currently ttc, will I be ok to use a hot tub around one week after dtd or is this dangerous?

It'll be fine Smile

Thanks Anne! Not sure if I'm a complete hypochondriac! 😂

I'm voting complete hypochondriac 😂

You'll be fine. I was on my honeymoon when I got my BFP and had been using hot tubs and saunas all week beforehand. I'm now 34 weeks and all is normal/well 😊 Enjoy your spa day (you'll miss them later!)

Thanks everyone! Phew! That saves me having to explain it to my friends!!!

I went on a spa day with friends two days before I got my BFP & the thought not to use a hot tub didn't even cross my mind. I was in & out of the saunas & spa pools. Currently 29 weeks pregnant & baby is kicking like mad.

I've had 3 previous mcs as well as DS & this baby so once I know I'm pregnant I'm careful with what I do but you'd drive yourself mad if you stopped doing things, drinking alcohol & coffee every month in the two week wait. I know it's hard but you have to carry on as normal & try & forget about it. Fingers crossed this is your month & enjoy your spa day, I'd love one right now!

I've just got back off a long weekend away. Went in the hot tub we had all bloody weekend as I was convinced we stood no chance this month due to dtd too early. Nope. Bfp. Also worrying over here as only getting light ones but the fact implantation still happened around the time I was in and out of them can't be a bad thing xxx

I went on a spa day the weekend I conceived, and also the weekend after (so around the same time you're thinking of), went in the hot tub/sauna both times and I'm now 35 weeks pregnant so must have been fine! Once I knew I was pregnant and a little further on I avoided saunas etc but it's just a bundle of cells at that point so you can't really do any damage. Don't over do it if you're worried.

I know that's three spa days haha we got one as a wedding present, one was a friends birthday and the other was a hen weekend. What can I say, January/February this year was a very relaxed and decadent time haha!

Also agree with PP's, you can't put your life on hold each month in the TWW. Once you're pregnant you'll have all the time to avoid hot tubs/caffeine/rough sex/alcohol/pate/bungee jumping! For now, live your life and fingers crossed for you!
