Hi everyone,

I'm nearly 6 weeks pregnant with baby number 2 and hating not being able to constantly talk about it to everyone!! Can't wait till it's common knowledge. Anyone else in the same situation? How are you all feeling? Xx

Same here, just over 6 weeks, although my parents know (we're staying with them whilst our house is renovated, and I like a glass of wine, so would've been obvious!)

There's a post on here titled babies due April 2017 (but actually means 2018) that a few of us are on, come and join in!

Thanks @WineAndTiramisu I will!

I got my bfp yesterday, 4 weeks today going by first day of period although I suspect my dates will be pushed back a few days as I ovulated later.

Since getting my bfp yesterday all I want to do is tell everyone!! Only joined Mumsnet last month and I'm so glad I did or I'd be going crazy keeping it to myselfGrin

I get you @Fia256 it's insanely hard! Especially when you are feeling sick, tired and have heavy painful boobs! How have you been feeling? Is this your first? Xx

No I don't have many symptoms yet, just a bad cold but I don't usually get anything until 7 ish weeks!

Third baby for us, but we had a mmc at 16 which was only picked up at 20 week scan in June. Feeling a bit nervous but I'm glad it's happened quickly for us! Is this your first?

Will get a few early scans so will tell close family once we have had our first one at 6 weeks if all looks ok so far! It's hard as I feel that if I do miscarry I'll tell everyone about it anyway so what's the point in holding out telling anyone! Argh it's going to be a long few weeks!

Shabeth · 29/08/2017 11:22

I'm 5 weeks with my first and it's killing me, I just found out and it's all I can do to not just blurt it out mid conversation with everyone!

FPAN · 29/08/2017 12:02

@Fia256 no it's my second! Can't wait to see my son playing with the baby. He is so excited and keeps kissing my tummy.

@Shabeth it's sooooo hard isn't it!

It's so hard isn't it. We didn't tell people until 12 weeks which was extremely difficult as I had hyperemesis!

Anatidae · 29/08/2017 14:45

I had no desire to tell anyone to be honest (except dp)

... but I also had hyperemesis and that made it really tough. I was being sick up to 20x a day and I couldn't tell work :/ not good
