I'm 33 weeks pregnant and have felt rubbish this weekend and been in bed for half of it, feeling exhausted and weak

Feeling much better now but have a mild headache that won't go aaay with paracetamol, and starry blurry vision

Last week I had a blood pressure And urine check and all was fine

Could I have preclampsia?

Yes, sorry, but you could. Go and get checked now, this evening. Don't wait.

FiveStarService · 28/08/2017 18:07

Best go get it checked. It can be dangerous if left untreated.

DancingLedge · 28/08/2017 18:09

Well, yes in the sense that any pregnant woman could.
The starry, blurry vision is perhaps the most worrying symptom.Last weeks check doesn't tell you what's going on now.
You need to ring your midwife, today, and see what they say. Could well be nothing of great significance, but the sooner you get checked, the safer all round.
Best of luck.

Yes possibly. You need to be seen asap. Can be fatal for mother and baby. Please don't wait to go.

The vision thing is a real warning: get yourself checked out now!

I had all your symptoms but ignored them largely due to history of migraine, went for routine scan and ended up with emergency c section on the same day. I walked into the consultants room after my scan and he went "are you feeling ok?" and I was like ermmm yes, why? Wasn't prepared for it when he said well you've got pre eclampsia so we're going to induce you NOW!!

Thanks everyone! About to get checked now
