Early Pregnancy Slow Growth

I am just looking to see if anyone has been in the same situation I am in and what there outcome was. Im 39 and I am pregnant for the second time this year, my first ended as a missed miscarriage. When I found out I was pregnant again I went to EPC at five weeks as was worried, at that scan all they could see was an empty sac so they took my hgc levels and i was on day 1 1800 day 3 2000 and day 5 2500 so although rising they werent doubling what they were suppose too so when i should be six weeks they did another scan and it showed the sac with a yolk but again slow growth as to what has been expected. A week later when i should be seven weeks the scan now shows a heartbeat and measure what a six week scan should be. I have not mixed up dates as my partner and I split up on the 22nd july and i ovulated around the 16th july and got a positive pregnancy test on the 29th july so i know my dates are right. Has anyone had a smiliar experience as i am just all over the place and expecting the worse and a repeat of what happened in March again. I had failed IVF in my twenties and was told I would never concieve but fourteen years later I have somehow concieved twice in eight months so miracles do happen but can ths pregnacy be viable when its growing too slow and my hgc levels arent rising as they should. Any stories whether positve or negative would be appreciated.

I'm in a similar position.
I had miscarriage earlier this year at 12 weeks.
Currently pregnant again - just over 6 weeks, but at scan there was only yolk sac which they said was 5 weeks.
I'm very worried too. Midwife said that its easy to get dates wrong but I know the exact day that I ovulated!!

On a positive note, I've Googled for hours and theres many people who were dated behind in the early weeks and everything turned out fine which is reassuring me.

Did the hospital seem concerned that your dates are behind?
I know it's hard when you've already lost a pregnancy, and it means so much, but just remember that at this moment in time, you're still pregnant. x

The hospital weren't but as soon as I said I know for sure the latest date of conception and when I had a positive test the nurse just said well it will likely to end the same as last one which I did not find very helpful and she couldn't answer any of my questions and said they couldn't offer any more as the baby has a heartbeat at the moment and to see my GP so I am left not knowing what's going on. I just can't see a baby surviving when it's 1 to 2 weeks showing earlier that should and my hgc levels not rising like they should. I know early pregnancy units see people all the time I just don't think they believed me when I said I am certain of dates and you wouldn't get a positive pregnancy test three days after conception going by the scan date.

Hi @Yvonned78
I've just ready your posts and I know it was ages ago but wondering what your outcome was? I'm literally in an identical situation. I know it's unlikely you'll get this bit worth a shot anyway.
