I can't see a thread already. I'm 4+1 today and due May 3rd 2018, although I'll have a section so baby will probably be born in April. This is my second, I have a toddler DS.

I'm so tired today! Not sure how I'm going to manage this for another 34 weeks... (Hopefully) Smile

Hey! I'm 4+3 and due on the 1st May! I have an early reassurance scan booked on the 17th. I've been craving tomatoes and garlic like something crazy!
Apart from feeling tired, do you have any other symptoms? I hardly have any really :-/

JuniUmiZoomi · 25/08/2017 20:10

Yes! We've started a thread in ante-natal clubs also. Very tired here today too.

Kublakhan · 25/08/2017 20:25

Aha I didn't know antenatal clubs was a thing. I shall look over there.

I have scans booked as well, my NHS one is at 6+6. The last time we had one at 7+3 and it was a funny snowman blobby thing then we had one at 10w and it was a beautiful little baby shape! They develop so quickly.

I'm tired and quite nauseous so eating every few hours to keep that at bay. I had both symptoms before the pregnancy though because of the drugs I'm taking for the fertility treatment we had.

I feel like shouting it to everyone I meet but we haven't told anyone at all, not even my mum or sister, which feels a bit strange. Still it will be a lovely surprise! Smile

Oh id love to see your 6+6 week scan :-) I
I haven't felt sick at all, only tender nips! (Nice)

I haven't told my family either, which feels so strange as we are all very close. They probably know already though, I've turned down 2 chances to have wine!

Will you tell your family at 12 weeks or earlier/later? Desperate to shout out our good news, he/she will be a honeymoon baby!

Would be great to keep up to date with our little ones progress.

MeSmile got my bfp this week!! Going by lmp that puts me at 4weeks coming on monday. Really early days yet.

IfeelFloopy · 25/08/2017 21:53

Hi ladies. I am 5 weeks today so actually due at the end of April but likely to go over into may as many pregnancies do.

The symptom thing is a weird one. I've had some that have come and gone (like losing my appetite for a while) and the last few days a mid afternoon nap each day. Other than that I am symptom free. Oh..apart from waking up in the night earlier this week mid orgasm!? Followed by painful cramping. Apparently it's common in pregnancy Shock.

This is my first pregnancy but DP and I are quite keen on having an early scan. 7 more weeks feels like such a long time to wait! Can anyone tell me how to go about finding somewhere? I have googled but I'm not finding much and I'd like to know I'm going to someone who knows what they're doing.

Kublakhan · 25/08/2017 21:53

We had a 5w scan last time! Saw a tiny blob and heard a heartbeat but I think we were really lucky to get that. Smile

We'll tell family before 12 weeks I think, maybe after the 7w scan. We had fertility treatment so it feels like we've 'known' for a few months already, at least that there was a possibility. Will hold off with work as long as possible as they're all so bloody nosy!

Has anyone 'booked in' with the GP/midwife? I just remember last time I waited until after the 7w scan and they said I'd left it far too late and they would struggle to get me in for my 12w scan... Hmm think I'll phone on Monday.

With scans just Google 'early pregnancy scan nearest city' and see what comes back. There is loads of choice around here.

Oh my! A mid sleep orgasm! Not sure if I like the sound of that or not haha!

In the pregnancy pack my gp gave me was a leaflet advertising it at my local hospital. You could ask your gp to recommend a trusted sonographer. Its costing me £79.

Although we were ttc it doesn't really feel real. I've a right collection of positive tests in my bag, there may also be one from this morn!BlushGrin

Hi; I'm due around 8th May.
This is my first time here (although baby #3).

Tonytonymacaroni · 01/09/2017 20:05

Hi everyone! Got my bfp on Monday, using an early detection Clearblue. Just to check I did another one on Wednesday and the line was much darker, which was reassuring! So I'm at the GP next week to book in for midwife etc but online due date calculator coming out as 20th May. This is DC2 so I'm excited to be giving my Dd a sibling! I know it's still early days but has anyone been getting round ligament pain already? I feel like as it's second time round, my body is stretching much earlier and I look bloated already! Anyone else or is it just me?

Tonytonymacaroni · 01/09/2017 20:16

I think my late May due date is because my cycles are about 45 days long. Not sure how they are worked out and I know there's room for them to move as in my first pregnancy my due date was brought forward by 2 weeks after my 12 week scan and DD arrived 5 days earlier than that too! So I might well end up with an earlier due date in the end. I can tell these weeks are going to drag, can't wait for the scan to tell me everything is ok! Last time I found out at 6-7 weeks so it was less waiting!
