NT measurement

Had my 12 week scan (baby looking good 😊) but confused about the NT measurement. Sonographer wouldn't tell me anything about the result (just said there's no good or bad number) but when I looked in my notes she'd put 1.2mm which I think is pretty low? I'm exactly 12 weeks.

Just wondering why she wouldn't say if low - is that normal? I know they take blood and do a calculation to work out risk but I read somewhere that it was mostly to do with the measurement, so seemed strange that she didn't give me some reassurance. Torturing myself now with the worry that she saw something else or there's some other reason why she thinks i might be higher risk?

Thanks!

That's a great result. Same as ours. Our previous pregnancy (which ended badly) was 3.9 so we were hyper aware of the measurement this time! Nothing to worry about. Congrats x

Thanks leighdinglady! Think I just needed someone to tell me the result was ok. Congratulations to you too 😊
