Sick sick sick

Early pregnancy FRIENDS. I am just over 6 weeks and feeling absolutely rotten. Feeling nauseous if i don't eat every two hours, managing (at least) three dinners a night (spaghetti hoops and cheeze, a chippie and a pizza last night), have really strong cramps and am getting a lot of headaches.

Despite previously being really quite healthy, i now cannot stand the taste of fruit or salads. I need stodge and lots of it.

The above sounds like an ungrateful moan when in reality, this tiny wee miracle with a heartbeat is the best thing in the world to happen to us, but jeeeezo this part is NOT fun.

Does anyone have thoughts on ways to prevent the sick feeling other than eating everything in site?

Thanks lots.

I felt horrendous in the first trimester. I just slept when I had the chance too, my doctor told me to eat dry toast and to eat little but often to help with nausea. It will pass hang in there x

I'm 9 weeks and feel sick at every moment. I lost my first baby though so bloody love these feelings to be honest!
I've found boiled sweets help a lot, and arrowroot biscuits!

I am so happy to read this! Obviously not to hear you feel rotten but someone else is the same.

The only time I don't feel sick is when I'm eating and about half an hour afterwards. Then I feel awful again. Everyone else I've spoken to says they couldn't eat a thing but I need to eat everything in sight to stay feeling normal.

I'm finding salty things like crisps are helping me, with an after taste! Hope you feel better soon.
