Baby measuring small

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has any advise on this or same experience, just need help putting my mind at ease.

My baby girl was measuring small at 20 week scan. So I've had two growth scans since she's consistently grown but is still small.

At 25+3:

FL 40mm
AC 202mm
HC 221mm

Did anyone else measure small? I mean I'm only 5"1 so Im petite but they have made me worry as they had to go through possibilities of what it could mean when your baby is small and want me to come back for more scans.

Xx

Hi there - I posted similar about my small baby at 25 weeks just a few days ago. My baby's measurements are smaller than yours. I've been for two scans and she's healthy, placenta working normally, but just small. First baby was the same so for now they are suggesting not to worry, just rest and make sure I'm eating well.

Hang in there.

Ok. Thanks for writing back to me.

They are particularly concentrating on the fact that her Femurs are small. They did reassure me that she's active, heartbeat fine & they ruled out a placenta issue. I have little legs myself. But I just can't help but be worried until my next scan now x

My baby measured small all the weigh through - estimated to be under 6lb when she was born - born at 40+4 at 8lb 11oz.

First baby was measuring average so around 6.5-8.5lb at term - he was born at 5lb 13oz.

I remember my consultant telling me that as long as the baby was growing at the same rate e.g. Putting on 0.5/1lb or whatever at each scan as it should be then unless it was a dangerously low/big estimated weight or the growth pattern changed it's nothing to worry about x

All the way through*

Yeah she has grown around the same on the chart at each scan, so I'm sure it's fine. I'll just wait till next scan at 29 weeks and pray that everything is fine.

Thanks guys x
