Tender tummy after scan

Had my first scan at 3 weeks yesterday and was really surprised at how hard the sonographer pushed the ultrasound thingy onto my stomach. It actually hurt! It's definitely feeling tender to the touch this morning, anyone else experienced this?

I had a scan every week and my tummy felt like I'd just been hit by a football. Totally normal x

Yes normal. I also feel a bit sick after scans and achy x

Yep especially at the start - they need to push pretty hard.

I run to the toilet as soon as I'm out the room. I remember trying so hard not to pee during the early scans. Thankfully you don't need a full bladder once the baby is bigger Smile

Thanks everyone. My original thread was supposed to read 13 weeks, not 3!
