my SiL is 36w on monday and the mw cant tell if baba is transverse or breech. shes advised an ECV (have posted on this before)and a scan. want to know all the facts 1st. she had 32 internal stitches with ds and (obv) a v nasty tear, he also broke her coxyks(sp) so obv bit worried about a VB but mw wants to avoid a cs if poss nedd mn help!!!!

well it worked for me as I avoided a cs so would highly recommend it. Check the consultant has done it a few times before andtheir success rate. It doesn't actually hurt as they give you a muscle relaxant. They are scanning you as they do it so will be constantly monitoring position of baby.
