Anyone had transverse or breach baby - symptoms?

I'm 38+2 and having a scan tomorrow as midwife concerned baby is breach/transverse. I feel like I've got a head stuck under my left ribs and that I'm being kicked (or possibly punched 🤞) very low down in my groin area. Very sore on left hand side. It feels like my bump is very broad accross my stomach. Has anyone else been breach/transverse and what symptoms did you have?

Yes both of mine were transverse up until 36 and 37 weeks. I was so poorly when they turned there wasnt enough room so my stomach emptied as they shifted.
I didn't really look pregnant until they turned. You could tell us put on weight but some people at work did t even k ow I was pregnant until I was presented flowers on my last day!

Yes, my lb was breach, then turned so he was back to back with me. Discovered after 3 days of failed induction, ARM, 3 failed epidurals and 17 hours of labour that he was transverse and stuck. Cue EMCS 😣

All my babies have been breech including this one and never turned, csection with all. I had/have exactly as you describe. Kicks low down on my bladder and sometimes in my hip and her head is firmly stuck between my ribs.
If I lay down you can see her head poking out.
They can perform an ecv but I'm not sure if there's a cut off at a certain amount of weeks as I never had this option previously.

Both of mine were breech.

With DS it was obvious his head was just under my boobs - I used to rest my brew on it. It was really round.

With DD it felt like I was being kicked in the side.

FWIW I had sections with both of them.

I should add, like Bubblysqueak not many people noticed I was pregnant even at full term. One of the first things the midwife said to me after he was born was "Where were you hiding that?!". He was 9lb 1oz (but 15 days late).

Thanks for responses so far. It's def obvious I'm pregnant so perhaps not transverse but breach instead. Praying it's all a false alarm and baby is really in the right position for a normal birth.... 🤞🤞
