Thrush- Has anyone used Multigyn/Bio fem or probiotics?

Hello. Hoping someone can offer some advice. Sorry if TMI

I got thrush about 2.5 weeks ago. I was prescribed 6 days of pessaries which didn't dissolve properly and caused more irritation. Then I was prescribed canesten external cream but obviously this doesn't treat inside. These two things lessened the thrush but it's not totally gone and mainly itches at night!

I don't want to use more canesten type meds as I know they kill good bacteria too. My GP has approved some probiotic tablets I bought (Optibac intimate women) and Multigyn Flora Plus internal gel and Miltigyn Active Gel for external discomfort.

Please can anyone give me any feedback if you've used the above ntural products if they helped you? I know they're natural but would like more reassurance as can't find any reviews from pregnant users on the Internet

I've cut out bread, minised sugar, cotton knickers etc and eating lots of live yoghurt too

Thanks in advance :)

Yes, have used both (probiotics and the multigyn active gel) but they work best in combination with a thrush treatment. Both will normalise the healthy bacteria in your vagina, but not treat the thrush specifically. I personally would use another pessary along with probiotics followed by the gel.

Hi. I take pro biotics daily. Usually but ones around 24.99 in holland and Barrett. I cant live without them and perfectly safe in pregnancy.

Thank you both, that's really helpful.

I have heard you can get probiotic pessaries too but not sure where.

Yoghurt on a tampon. And cotton panty liners.
