Possibly pregnant? Can you see a line?

I need a second pair of eyes...can anyone else see a line? Tested a moment ago and a faint blue line came up within about 30 seconds. Took picture a few mins later attached. Can still see line very faintly on test but it's now grey and so even fainter and does not show on subsequent photos.

Could be feasible. Had sex last Sunday night and condom came off (used condom as usual pill had run out about 2 weeks before and awaiting appointment for alternative contraception, ironically tomorrow). Condom was off for about three seconds and I removed it immediately and husband hadn't ejeculated, although I'm aware it's still a risk. Took morning after pill but a couple of days ago I became constipated (which I get when pregnant). Checked with dr who prescribed map who says constipation is not a side effect of map, hence taking test. I realise it's way too early to test but I did it anyway as I'm freaking out because we already have two DC and not currently set up for a third, although in the future we would love one.

I think I can see the link of I squint and rotate my phone about a bit. But. It would be too early to show if you only had unprotected sex last Sunday so you'll have to wait probably. When are you due on?

ZebedeeFlowerpot · 21/08/2017 16:18

No idea when I'm due. I've been on the pill for the last year (and so no periods) and only stopped three weeks ago when it ran out and have been waiting for appointment at doctors for alternative contraception. When i finished the last pack I think I had a day of bleeding shortly after but really can't remember. I had sex about two weeks after stopping the pill.

I know from previous pregnancies that I'm super fertile but also appreciate that it's probably too early to tell. It was only the anxiety over the constipation that made me test, stupidly knowing it's too early anyway!

I would get a First response rapid result and do it tomorrow morning. I took a while to show a decent line on these tests. They are designed for the day of your missed period really. Also blue dye tests give some horrible false positives so always go pink dye.

ZebedeeFlowerpot · 21/08/2017 16:25

Of course I'd completely forgotten about the blue line tests! I will get a first response but probably wait until the weekend because then it's a bit more of a realistic testing time. Thanks ladies. I've just done the convert the test to negative thing in photoshop and the line is quite clear....doesn't mean it's true though. I guess I've got a waiting game ahead of me.

Lauralou031986 · 22/08/2017 09:37

I can sort of see a very faint line

ZebedeeFlowerpot · 22/08/2017 13:12

Feeling very confused and emotional today. I desperately want to take another test but I know that realistically it's too soon and I'm stuck at home with the DC today anyway. I've ordered a pack online which should be here Thursday/Friday (seems an age away) and I'm seeing the doctor today about contraception, during which I will mention all of this anyway. I suppose I could pick up a test after.

I had a chat with DH last night. He couldn't see a line and was a bit Hmm about me seeing a line. He was very supportive though and we talked it all through. He said I should try to put it to the back of my mind for now and not think about it too much. So naturally I've been googling faint lines/disappearing lines etc etc and not thinking about it at all, oh no not I. He would love a third and so was quite unworried about the whole thing, which is great....but I really don't think we can afford a third at all and we don't really have space either. My DH is eternally optimistic though.

@Milliemoo09 When is your period due? Did these lines come up immediately?

Milliemoo09 · 22/08/2017 17:33

Yeah babe straight away am I seeing things

peachgreen · 22/08/2017 17:35

They're very faint and almost colourless which makes me worry that they could be evap lines... I think you need to wait until the day your period is due and test again with FMU; as frustrating as it is to have to wait it's the only way to get a definitive answer. Good luck!

Milliemoo09 · 22/08/2017 17:38

No came up in time frame and also is thick normally Evap lines Can be think can't they xx

peachgreen · 22/08/2017 17:40

Very true! Fingers crossed the next one you do is more definitive. My first was v faint too!

Milliemoo09 · 22/08/2017 18:36

Thank you 💕

oddleofnoodle · 22/08/2017 18:44

I don't see a line at all.

Milliemoo09 · 22/08/2017 19:08

On mine or original post?

CL1982 · 24/08/2017 17:46

Op have you done a FRER yet? Red line dye tests are much better...
