Shooting pains and pressure in my cervix?

I'm currently 15 weeks pregnant with my first baby and my uterus feel soooo heavy, especially when I stand up or when I bend my legs up to my belly when I'm in bed. I also keep getting shooting/sharp pains in my cervix/vagina. Anyone else experiencing this? I text my MW but since it's a Sunday I doubt she'll reply until tomorrow.

Lie down and relax. Go to sleep. All will be well.

I've had what I'd described as pressure, if felt like if I'd spread my legs the world would fall out my vagina. The midwife said I had SPD and I also had a uti.

Hope you're feeling better soon

I believe the shooting pains are pretty common - "fanny daggers" I used to hear them called, and it's too true! If it doesn't pass or you're bleeding/concerned, give your midwife a ring.

I'm 19 weeks and have been getting similar sharp/shooting pains in my vagina and cervix for a couple of weeks. I say pains, but i's not actually painful really, just a step above uncomfortable iyswim. I've been told it's a normal part of everything stretching and loosening up down there. If you're worried then speak to your MW.
